Yoga

At Courtside we promote a friendly, non-intimidating environment for all of our yoga classes. Our weekly schedule offers a variety of styles. And you can deepen your practice even further with private instruction and specialty workshops. Check out our monthly calendar for details on all upcoming specialty programs.

Why Yoga?

The goal of yoga is to unite the body, mind and spirit. It can help you increase flexibility and lean muscle, reduce stress, strengthen core muscles and improve balance.

Most Americans are familiar with the Hatha style of yoga, which is just one of eight "limbs" of this ancient practice. Hatha yoga is the physical practice of postures (or asanas), breathing exercises (pranayama) and relaxation. Explore our class schedule to see the variety of yoga styles Courtside offers.
